28 June 2023 Fabulous gastronomic evening “Bienvenue en Beaujonomie” at Château Bellevue

For several years now, Château Bellevue has had the honor of hosting a major event: “Bienvenue en Beaujonomie”.

The concept? Bring a chef to the Château and organize a convivial meal.

This year’s theme was “From the notes of Morgon to the notes of Japan”. Our Château wines and the tasty, Japanese-style cuisine of Marie Dias, chef at Le Coq in Juliénas (a 4-handed operation with her son, also a brilliant chef) provided the perfect match. The convivial meal was also enhanced by high-flying contributions from Périco Légasse and Natacha Polony, who subtly linked the Japanese art of living with France’s gastronomic heritage. The performance of Maïa Aboueleze, a rare Frenchwoman who wields the chopsticks of the Japanese drum known as TAÏKO, gave the Beaujolais hillsides the perfect setting for an epicurean symphony!
