On June 30th 2021, after ageing for 9 months on the estate, the cuvée “Corcelette-Le Clos” was bottled on site. This 0.5 ha plot is located on the Château’s property. Two new cuvées were also elaborated: our white Beaujolais straight from our vines in “Pierres Dorées”, south of the area, and our “Javernières” plot selection in Morgon.
Last year, harvesting began late August, a solar vintage with ideal conditions: enough water for growth, enough sun for flowering, enough wind to avoid diseases. A very nice potential and on a sunny morning of 2021 the three cuvées were bottled in order to preserve all the aromas.
Bottling is a meticulous and technical step, the machine is perfectly programmed for optimal results. Then follows a quality control of the wine before leaving the Château. The bottles and corks are carefully selected to allow for the wine to be preserved in ideal conditions. The last steps will take place in a few months: capping, labelling, packaging…
